Forward for sale on Saturday were 2007 Breeding Female Sheep.
1370 Gimmers Averaged £145
490 Ewe Lambs Averaged £107
147 Ewes Averaged £82
Gimmers were a mixed show but overall sold well. The hardest to
cash on the day would be Texel x Gimmers. Shetland X Cheviot,
Cheviot, and Llyen x Gimmers were easy sold and in high demand.
White Shetland Gimmers sold to extreme rates, however coloured
Shetland Gimmers proved harder to cash.
648 Texel x Gimmers averaged £147 and topped at £210 for a pair from
I Laird, Yeldabreck, Burray with the proceeds going towards the Air
Ambulance Service.
