Prime Cattle sold to 235 p/kg for a Limousin Heifer scaling 570 kilos from J & R Stanger, South Seatter, Sandwick realising £1339.50 purchased by E Flett.

A small consignment of Non-Assured Store cattle was forward from A Ritch, Fillets, Graemsay averaging 209.6p/kg. Topping the Steers was a Charolais scaling 355 kilos at 223.9 p/kg realising £795.
Heifers topped at 204.5 p/kg for 3 Angus scaling 396 kilos realising £810.
5 thinner, feeding OTM Cattle topped at 163.6 p/kg for an Aberdeen Angus scaling 550 kilos from A Ritch, Fillets, Graemsay realising £900.
Following the Cattle were 296 Prime, Store & Cast Sheep.
Prime Lambs were scares due to the current uncertainty with our UK borders to Europe. However, the small number of sellers benefited with trade being dearer on the week. Small export types a great trade. Heavy lambs slightly dearer this week but still hard to cash.
Prime Lambs averaged 189.6 p/kg (+ 3.3p)
SQQ Lambs averaged 192 p/kg (+1.5p)
Lambs per head averaged £80.04 (- £3.58)
229 Prime Lambs topped at 204.2 p/kg for a pair of Texels scaling 47 kilos from Tommy Linklater, Stonelea, Stenness realising £96, also Top price per head.
