Forward for sale on Monday were 6 Prime Cattle, 47 Store Cattle, 40 Breeding
Cattle & 7 OTM Cattle.
Prime Heifers sold to 206 p/kg for a Limousin scaling 575 kilos from B & B Omand, Stembister, Toab realising £1184.50 purchased by E Flett.
Prime Steers sold to 200 p/kg for a Charolais scaling 700 kilos from P & F Ross, Lenahowe, Sandwick realising £1400 purchased by Williamsons.
Store Cattle once again saw a sharp trade with 31 different buyers left still needing cattle.
Store Steers averaged 221 p/kg and sold to 249 p/kg for a pair of Limousins scaling 390 kilos from DD & JA Scott, Grutha, South Ronaldsay realising £970.
Top price per head was £1050 for a pair of Charolais scaling 472 kilos from S W Sinclair, South Breck, Firth.
