Store Heifers sold to 212.2 p/kg for an Aberdeen Angus scaling 450 kilos from J & M Dearness, Knowe, Sanday realising £955.
A more mixed show of OTM Cattle sold to even dearer rates this week averaging 142.4 p/kg (+6.6p) on the week.
OTM Cattle sold to 157.4 p/kg for a Charolais scaling 680 kilos from J Moar, Rosebank, Deerness realising £1070.
Top price per head was £1180 for an Aberdeen Angus cow from E S Spence, Beaquoy, Dounby.

Following the Cattle were 10 Prime Lambs, 44 Prime Hoggs, 4 Store Hoggs and 58 Cast Sheep.
The first New Season Lambs were sold today from R E & R Scott, Dawn Cottage, Holm with all 10 lambs averaging 239.3 p/kg or £119.80.
Robbie’s Lambs sold to a top of 247.4 p/kg for a pen of 3 Texels scaling 48.5 kilos realising £120 purchased by E Flett Butchers, Stromness.
Top price per head was £123 for a pair of Texels scaling 53.5 kilos.
Prime Hoggs sold to 220 p/kg for a fantastic Texel scaling 50 kilos from A Sclater, Fea, Orphir realising £110 purchased by Williamsons. This was also top price per head.
